That sounds correct. I got no problem with Gosar disagreeing with the Pope, he’s within his rights to do so but what upsets me is the double standards. A pro-choice Catholic politician exists and the conservatives within the chruch- both hierachy and layperson say they should be denied communion. This guy flat out calls the Pope a commie.

This. These guys cherry pick and then scream about persecution if anyone disagrees. If Gosar wasn’t cherry picking, and if he knew a damned thing about climate change—which he clearly doesn’t—then he might not sound so stupid. Then again, if he knew something about climate change, he probably wouldn’t have said what he said.
