WRONG. But I was shocked to find out he started out as an anti Vietnam War priest who ran for office as a Republican and lost and then left the priesthood and worked for Nixon and became pro Vietnam. I forget what kind of conservative he was though but I definitely remember his shoe.

McLaughlin, Billy Graham, Rabbi Korff and Rev Moon were the Four Horsemen who defended Nixon to the end.
