Speaking of guns… :(

Just listened to the most recent podcast of Real Time. S.E. Cupp went on a tear at Michael Moore over gun ownership. Her logic is that she needs one for self-defense.

That’s possible, I guess. She’s in the public eye and is outspoken, which is going to irritate people. Some of whom probably aren’t on speaking terms with reality.

I just keep going back to the whole “part of well-regulated militia” thing. Apologies to the law-abiding gun owners, but I’m guessing most of them aren’t members of a well-regulated militia, or any sort of military or para-military force.

It’s really hard to believe that the Founders wanted everyone to be armed to the teeth. Particularly with the hand held weapons of mass destruction that are relatively easy to purchase.

We really need to amend the 2nd Amendment.
