The best thing about them running, and I truly wish they would, would be the conservatives could finally STFU about “not conservative enough” when that team would get, max, the 30% who support that tea party/GOP at all costs kind of thinking - no matter what.

Trust me, they’ll still find an excuse. Ken Cuccinneli lost here against perhaps one of the most unlikable Democrats in the state and still lost. They really are convinced that conservatism is a fail-proof philosophy and that it can never fail on its own demerits but instead be failed by RINOs and the ebil establishment. Still though, I would love to see it.
