1. They can’t afford their own apartments; they either live with their parents or they have 6 roommates

2. They don’t have cars.

There’s a little more than that, though, and it’s a good thing. Not having a car or living at home, as a teenager, wasn’t a hindrance. I’m glad they’re better than I was.
