re: #225 Belafon

Well, it’s acutally kind of complicated now, but we have failed to properly teach it. Think about what we want: Twitter is a private company, and can ban who it wants, but it can’t ban people just based on their gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation; but, the President, who uses it, cannot block people.

The problem is that we don’t really have good law regarding the internet. One could make the argument that apps/websites like Twitter are digital limited public forums, even if not technically public property. Since this is mostly being handled by the Courts, it’s a patchwork of random cases, as is often the situation when we’re dealing with a new thing.
