I spent 3 1/2 years in Port Charlotte. Did you get to go to Boca Grande?

I don’t think so. We were only down there for 2-3 days in late February. Stayed in a hotel in Venice, and the day trips were the Peace River - down through Port Charlotte thing, a day up around Sarasota including the aquarium there (with Hugh the Manatee), and some time at the beaches in Venice. The rest was getting to and from Tampa. Limited time and my brother was handling the itinerary.
