For those people who were saying that absentee voting by mail means your vote can get lost by USPS. In California the county clerks are by law required to have a website set up where you can track your vote by mail ballot.

Mine arrived back at the Recorder’s office on October 15th and its status is listed as “good,” meaning my signature has been checked and found to match the one on file.
