Fascinating concept*, but that post is nearly a year old (and the original linked article is from 2017). I wonder how far along that project is as of today?

*One would think that light-rail systems would be an ideal test-bed for alternative generation systems (like that hydrogen train) as their power requirements (load/distance/timing,etc.) are probably pretty well predictable
