Proper response from NASA to Obama if he said that:

Yeah great, rather than developing alternative energy sources, you are investing capital in more emissions - and once that capital is invested, you will hurt the economy even more if we try to switch energy production and thus make it harder to prevent the effects of warming. Way to be a total coward under political pressure there CinC.

right. it’s a binary decision. if only we knew how to drill and develop alternative energy at the same time.
