Yeah. It’s kind of ridiculous that people can’t recall “First they came…” when there’s barely an adult whose parent’s lifetime, at least, it was only written within.

As I’ve been saying for the last year-plus, not only are we going to prove “Never Again” was a lie as a promise; we’re actually going to do so while there are people living to whom we made that promise while they were adults.

And to think there was a time when one would have been derided as overly cynical to think that societal memory would allow that sort of thing again a generation or two after the last survivors of the original had been buried!

It was never a promise for the survivors. It’s a threat for the next generation of butchers.
