The worst thing about Rwanda is that the murderers were armed with machetes. A company or two of mechanized infantry would have gone through them like a hot knife through butter. Clinton could have stopped the genocide and chose not to. When history finally piuts Clinton in his place Rwanda, rather than a cum-stained dress, will be the blackest mark on his Presidency.

It is hard to think of any President who deserved a blacker mark.

you are right. in the situation in rwanda it was mostly just doped up young boys and teenagers armed w/ machetes. they could have easily been stopped. i heard an account of how they congregated on hill tops surrounding a village and waited and watched for their opportunity.
as the ‘peace keepers’ walked away, deserting the unarmed people, the boys advanced into the village and began their butchery.

clinton did nothing. and knew what was going on. he is one cold hearted lib.
