You’re totally misunderstanding Ludwig’s point.

I’m pretty sure Ludwig said nothing about English being necessary.

Even if it was, I disagree that non-jewish, non indoamerican people using the word ‘tribe’ (in english) to refer to themselves is somehow an illegitimate use of the word.
