That’s different to me. Hard to describe, but the example Obicut presented belittles the victim of an unwelcome ,forceful, often violent crime. That being raped is somehow only equal to losing a sports game particularly badly.

The example you present is simply another meaning of the word. Doesn’t stir that same terrible comparison in me. But this all fairly fresh to me, so I could easily be overreacting.

I understand.

But, the song did finally stir some terrible comparisons out in the politically correct word. In the 90’s the authors wrote an alternative song that a theatre could use in place of “It Depends on What you Pay” some people will be offended no matter what.
