Old ammo, maybe. The T-72 has no effective ammunition compartmentalization, with means if it suffers an fire that reaches even one round of main gun ammo, all the main gun ammo is likely to detonate. Sometimes not all at once, in which case the tank just burn out, as seems to be happening here. In extreme cases, the ammo fire sets off all 22 rounds in the auto-loader cassette under the turret floor and once and blows the turret off of the tank. An example from Syria:
