I like my Sci-Fi to keep the human and emotional element. On this, I am prickly.

I rather like Twelve’s approach, namely keeping Clara and others at arm’s length. Makes a lot of sense that a man whose big storylines in recent years have been about how he keeps losing those close to him should go through a time when he wants to keep others at a distance.
