I really hate to say it, but that might be enough. It’s worked in the past. They used a lot of it in 2004.

In 2004, they had a then-popular war on their side, and a shitty Democratic candidate running against them.

In 2008, they tried it and it failed miserably.

In 2012, if all they offer is fear, it might not be enough, especially given all the Bad Crazy that’s been coming from the right lately.
