What percentage of the population has to be exposed to get us herd immunity?
50%? 70% 95%?

And that means how many people have to die to get there? Less than 3% of the population has been exposed to date. 75,000 dead Americans. Now, let’s do the fucking math. How many die to get us to herd immunity? 30% gets you 750,000 dead. 60% gets you 1.5 million.

And we don’t even know yet if herd immunity works with this virus. It has not been established that people can’t be reinfected after recovering once.
