I so badly want an electric car — a true plug-in that I can connect to the grid overnight and drive to work in the morning. But we’re not at a point where the middle class can afford electric, so we have to put up with this consolidation of the traditional car market under federal control — and the feds WILL crush any non-union, innovative car company that starts to challenge the unionized manufacturers.
