Yes. That’s what I’ve always found so grating about the sentiment that “Our diversity is our strength.” Diversity is neither good or bad, it’s simply a fact of life, which we can deal with well (America) or badly (Yugoslavia).

Is it a bad thing to think diversity is good? I think it’s good. I like listening to people’s stories. Everyone has a story.
