The EDL are vile islamophobes, but to describe them as bigoted white nationalist football hooligans is simply inaccurate. Depending on the rally, their numbers can be as high as a third minority (e.g jewish, hindu, sihk, etc), and regularly burn nazi flags and at least once a National Front flag. And nobody in England will argue that UAF doesn’t start most of the physical altercations they get involved in.

Again, I’m in NO way a supporter of the EDF, but from what I hear from people I talk to every day in England, the media’s narrative of them is way off base.
