The problem for a company is that if they have old infrastructure that needs to be replaced, they will need financing to do make the major reinvestment and to get financing requires good prospects for long term cash flow. Most domestic companies that use a lot of energy in their operations survive on thin margins. We know the destination, but we need a plan to get there.

That’s why the Feds have been offering so many rebates for energy saving upgrades. That money will dry up soon.
