Boadicea = Boudica = Boudicca, apparently.

Apparently, in classic Latin, there’s no soft ‘c’, so it would be “Bo-a-di-kee-a”, not “Bo-a-di-see-a”

There’s a passage in “Goodbye Mr. Chips”, where Chips objects to the “modern” (i.e. older) pronunciations - “‘Vicissim’ sounds like ‘We kiss him!’”
