I don’t see anything wrong with allowing a baby born in this country to be a citizen, in most cases. What is wrong is the
’ birth tourism ’ that has taken over, where people drag themselves over the border in labor or nearly, just to take advantage of benefits. The hospitals are overwhelmed, and there are even travel agencies promoting it.
