The Iranians might even be better at stabilizing Iraq. They can crush ISIS with brutality that we’d never even consider and they can do it in Iraq and Syria. Once Assad doesn’t have to worry about northern rebels he can polish off the weak US supported rebels in the south. There’d be peace all over the place.
