He doesn’t seem to understand that Islam is a religion, not a genome. This guy is really, really sick in the head.

Islamophobia has a deeply incestuous connection with racism as is. God knows how many people get targeted because they ‘look like a Muslim’ or ‘sound like a Muslim’, and far too often, ‘look like’ ends up equaling ‘Middle Eastern’ or otherwise brown in some way.
