My bottom 5 would be: Trump, Pierce, Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, and W Bush. Dishonorable mention to Reagan who is the one I definitely think history needs to re-evaluate.
My top 5 is tougher: Washington, Lincoln, and FDR for the top 3 but can’t figure the last two. I’d probably go with TR and Truman though.

My top 5 is Lincoln, Grant, both Roosevelts, and Eisenhower. They did lots of good stuff, and their mistakes were few.

Truman was great, Adams (both of them), I still like Ford and Bush the Elder — their records are more complicated, but I still think the things they did right outnumber the things they didn’t. Jefferson is problematic — I love his writing, and the Louisiana Purchase was epic, but everything about his personal life sucks so bad it diminishes him.
