Just like the idiots in the GOP who want a civil war so bad it makes their tiny peepees hard, these dirtbag leftists are just as fucking delusional. None of them will end up fighting in it themselves. They will just end up starving and homeless and perhaps up against a wall thanks to the nearest warlord.

The reality is, an actual shooting civil war will potentially collapse western civilization, the whole world economy, and probably lead to a nuclear war as everyone else and their brother gets involved and Russia and China think they have the green light to pursue their foreign policy wish lists with impunity. These fuckers are acting like the grocery stores will still be open and stocked and Amazon will still deliver shit to them.

The far ends of the spectrum both have revolution fantasies, and both fantasies are ridiculously simplistic and devoid of realism.

The far-left keeps believing that their “revolution” will play out in one of two ways: Either voters will get so fed up things just getting progressively worse that they’ll march to the ballot box in such numbers that it’s impossible to prevent their candidates from winning or that those same people will just bypass the ballot box and march in vast numbers to the seats of power in this nation and force elected officials to address their grievances.

By contrast, the far-right think their own “revolution” will play out in a fairly straight-forward way: Millions of “patriots” will take up arms and take the government by force. In their fantasy, LEO and the Armed Forces will either choose to join the “patriots” in their fight or will simply lay down their arms and refuse to fight. Basically, 1/6 was a bit of a dry run for this “revolution,” hence why there was and is still a lot of animosity between the MAGAts and the LEO who either stayed at their posts or even actively tried to stop the invasion of the Capital.

But the biggest fantasy of all? That when these “revolutions” occur, they’ll achieve 100% of their goals and America will look exactly like what they want instead of turning into anything between a military dictatorship and an authoritarian oligarchy.
