As I said: Fenway Nation is, in my opinion, the person to talk to for excellent objections to cap & trade, coming from the perspective of the transportation industries.

I was in the utility business. Power companies have pretty much stopped spending money on maintenance and will only do necessary work to keep power on until they see how much this is going to cost them. So this bill will put alot of people in this line of work out of work. Add the increased cost imposed upon everyone by this bill, adding a tax burden during a recession doesn’t spur economic growth.
