I agree with you. I never advocated bringing our the guard. If you read my posts, you would see that I raised the question of whether it might be appropriate to beef up the numbers or do some extra training.

I don’t know enough about the history of the guard to have an idea what would normally be appropriate, but I imagine any sort of out of the ordinary guard activities would geta lot of attention these days…
