Caffiene by itself is a grey area (and there aren’t too many in Mormonism). I was indulging in Dr. Pepper for years until my ticker started giving me some valve trouble. My wife can still drink Coke without trouble. I now tell my kids that they should follow the general rules but if they are prompted to be a little more strict about something with themselves there may be a good reason for it. (eg. Dad indulging in Dr. Pepper).

I thought you were in Georgia… isn’t all soda called “Coke” there? Bugged me out when my Dad’s neighbors in Bama would ask us kids “What kind of Cokes ya’ll want?”
