I hear that.
My fist transistor radio was a precious possession.
I was a kid, but I recall not being able to sleep- I was listening to the radio with that single off white earphone that kept slipping out.
I carried that thing everywhere.
I recall getting a build-it-youself transistor radio kit as a kid and listening to “Daydream Believer” by the Monkees and “Hello, Goodbye” by the Beatles on it in heavy rotation.
