Oh wow. I see a lot of whitesplaining on this by people who point out that African-Americans have played whites like Freeman did with Red in Shawshank and Quvenzhané Wallis as Annie but the difference is these are fictional characters while Zoe would be playing a real person.

Nina’s race played a huge role in her life as a singer, and as a person of course. I refrain from making up my mind about actors playing parts of persons of differing races, but I found it funny that a race is attributed to god in that tweet.
