It’s such a made up nontroversey. Coins have had it since 1856. Not exactly a new item. Of course the courts ruled this is not a violation of the establishment clause long ago. I could care less if it’s there or not.

I just never took the establishment clause as a requirement to sterilize every bit of paper or coin the government prints or every wall it happens to reside in. Otherwise one could argue that church polling places also violate the clause. Then you are just making it harder to vote.

I would like them to add: “All Others Pay Cash”.
