Tangentially related, I wanted to chime in on the discussion of “judeo-christian” that popped up in the last thread.

Of course the fact that term is a lame attempt by Christians to sound “inclusive” but rather offensive to a lot of Jews has been brought up too many times to mention.

However, I wanted to say that I myself, even though I’m a Christian, find Judaism to be a very profound and beautiful religion and It hurts me to see how some Christians can be so disrespectful to Jews.

How you can worship a Jewish King who followed many Jewish customs when He was on earth but at the same time detest Jews is something I cannot understand.

Christians are the “vine grafted on.” I think Allouette is getting into Heaven ahead of me, somehow.
I want to learn more about different Jewish takes on the afterlife. Anyone?
