So yesterday morning a stray/abandoned dog followed Buddy and I home from our walk. Installed himself immediately on the sofa. Under a year old, quite the mellow hedonist which actually makes him suitable in nature for our home. But… now is not a good time for a family addition.

A neighbor with an 18 mo old son fell in love with the dog and took him home last night. Whew! Great match! Or so I thought until I got a text at 6:30 this morning. It did not go well (great with the kid, problem with the husband). So…
