Flew into LAX for a trip to Palm Springs once. Should have been 2 hours and change to drive from the airport to Palm Springs. It took nearly 5.

Our return trip? After seeing how awful the trip to PS was, I budgeted 4+ hours to get back. We needed almost every minute of it.

You do realize there’s helicopters service from LAX to Palm Springs? Takes about 40 minutes.

Or you could fly from NY to PS on most major airlines.
