Does it mean AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE to AS IT APPEARS??

Again, I have no horse in this nor have I followed it closely. But a quick glance of State Statue reveals what I stated

I hope that Mike Krzyzewski never ends up running as a write-in candidate for anything… ;)

I understand the statute in needing the proper candidate properly identified on the write-in ballot. This quickly turns into one of those cases where it’s a balancing act between allowing the citizen to make a choice that will be counted, and ensuring that the choice is not abused by unscrupulous forces. And, essentially, you want to avoid election officials making judgment calls as much as possible to avoid charges of favoritism and corruption.
