The Dems didn’t want it out without rebuttal. The FBI and DOJ didn’t want it out because as they said, there are material omissions that leave misleading impressions.

I know. But this memo was basically vaporware. They admitted that the FISA warrant was not due to the dossier. It’s stated right in the memo. This was a 3rd rate attempt.

The fire from Dems was more than just wanting a rebuttal. They were too insistent over a rebuttal to a big nothing burger (IMHO) and that’s what I’ve been wondering about.
