If the first - the green letters were just weird. I suppose it could have been for Trekkies, and that Jesus was a supposed Vulcan or something.

If for the second - Pauline teachings are full of the damnation stuff about various sex-sins, also arguments over predestination, the role of women, and other such hard core topics out of which many splits in the Christian religion have arisen. So some people look upon Paul as a sort of misogynistic rabbi who may have believed the Gospel but nevertheless brought with him all sorts of baggage. As such, some people tend to think Paul’s teachings have been over-emphasized, especially by fundamentalists as found in the US.

The rampant misogyny in Catholicism is mostly due to Paul.
