The photos by the TPGOP menagerie should be a disqualifier for each of them even if the little shit were a pure as the driven snow. The Duggar problem is their sick ideology, not just their sick offspring.

By THAT logic Barack Obama never would have been able to run for president. The whole Bill Ayers / Jeremiah Wright mess would have shot him down before he even got off the ground.

Actually, the only candidate I see derailed by this is Huck (and good riddance to him). The rest will say some variant of “Josh Duggar did a very bad thing back then. We’re praying for him, but cannot have anything further to do with him.” And that and keeping the Duggars at arm’s length will be enough, because the candidates really did not know about this until the story broke.

So Paul, Rubio, Bush, Cruz, Walker, et al will survive this, though it would be a different matter if that story had broken a year from now. If it broke next May, it would have had the potential to overshadow and roil nominee, who would likely be too short of money to effectively respond until after the Republican National Convention in June. But in breaking now, there’s enough time for most of the candidates to get clear of it.
