Yes that’s sad. What’ else? For me anyway is how this shit has fragmented our families, our work relationships and our friendships. In middle November forward we are going to have to somehow repair those connections among us. Who wants to be estranged from a father or mother over Trump? Some of these people brought great value to our lives in the past. And would moving ahead. I will never forgive Donald trump for the divisiveness he brought. GOP outsider whoo fucking ray. Look what that has wrought.

A friend and I had this conversation the other day.

We both have friends - both separately and mutual friends, some we’ve known for decades - who are totally on board the Trump Train. And you just cannot talk to them any more. They don’t want to hear anything but how great Trump is. And even if you try being a little tactful, they go from zero to nuclear rage in no time flat.

They don’t want to discuss. They want a fucking fight. And once they start rolling, there’s no stopping them. They will stomp years-old friendships to defend their emperor god.

The saddest thing about this election is that I’ll never be able to look at quite a few friends the same way as I did before Trump came down that escalator.

I swear, if I ever get within spitting distance of Trump, I will not miss the opportunity to empty half a smoker’s lung on that prick’s expensive suit.
