Up here, we’re getting snow and bitter cold (20 degrees F / -6 degrees C). A couple of years ago, Mrs. Fish got stranded at the bottom of the big hill in town because her car didn’t have enough weight in the back end or tread on the tires to make traction on the ice. Some gracious soul picked her and the kids up half a mile from the house and took her home until I could come down and help her get the car from the gas station back home. Which reminds me, at some point this weekend I need to rotate her tires so that the new ones are on the back.

Getting forecasts for some snow flurries over the weekend in central and northern Ohio. High Saturday maybe 36°. Ugh.

Looks like I need to get the winter tires on my car this weekend. The summer tires are not good under 40°. They get hard and slippery. Getting cold early this year. I can usually make it to Thanksgiving to swap out the tires.
