Yeah after 2008, I’m not buying the GOP’s demise. On another note, it was interesting to read about Lincoln’s role in the formation of the GOP. I got Carl Sandberg’s Lincoln bio on Audible. Fascinating stuff. Really appreciate that Lincoln opposed the Know Nothings.
