… Trump’s numbers go up with his count of indictments.

And DeSantis’ numbers keep going down.

After tonight’s performance I wonder how the race will change, but DeSantis didn’t sound very strong tonight.

Trump will win the nomination unless the powers behind the GOP stop him.

Or he does get convicted and his position on a ballot is challenged in a court and it is ruled that Trump has indeed disqualified himself.

If I were one of the funders of the GOP, I’d simply take the 2024 loss and position younger people (Haley) to run in 2028.

I haven’t even looked at a gag reel of tonight’s shitshow, but everything I’m hearing in passing says that Meatball Ron has hit the “Please Clap” portion of his fall from grace. His whole sales pitch was supposed to be that he was the Trump Lite of the 2024 field, all the hate and bile with half the baggage. Problem is that the party’s voters want Trump Classic and won’t settle for a diet version.
