Election related, but not this one.

Apparently, the Governor of Puerto Rico has set the day of October 12 for the first round of plebicite on the Status of the Island. If a second round is needed, it will occur on Election Day.

Considering the history of the Plebicites, and what happened at the last election, there is a good chance this will be the end of the 50-star Flag.

If this happens however, another question: States usually don’t come alone. They usually went in pairs, or more. So, who becomes 52?

A Combined Guam & Northern Marianas Islands?
Or someone else?

If it was up to Harper, it would be Canada.
