“Them!” and “Tarantula” are probably my two faves of the ‘big bugs’ genre. I first saw “Tarantula” when I was about 5 years old or so; the local indie TV station in LA (this was in the 1970s) always ran a ‘Creature Feature’ on Sunday afternoons.

Good thing I’ve never been arachnophobic, unlike, say…..my ex-wife who once ran screaming - naked - around the apartment when she saw a tiny spider on the faucet as she was about to take a shower. For a brief moment, I thought she was going to run out onto the balcony, LOL.

My son keeps a shot glass and a playing card on his desk for spiders. Cover them with the shot glass, and slide the card under it, then take them to the back door and release them. Slightly arachnophobic, but heard too many lectures in how spiders kill bad bugs to just kill them.
