According to SCOTUS, the militia requirement is out. Good, bad, right or wrong it’s now an affirmed individual right. If we must amend, we must amend in the self defense aspect.

actually, no. An amendment trumps the SCOTUS.

That said, practicality matters. Any amendment must pass in 2/3 of the states. If you’re going for majority on all those states to vote saying “Militia, not self-defense” you’re going to need a helluva selling team.
