That’s what he said, that it’s SO different from TV and how they go really, really fast. He said it was some kind All Stars thing where it was only the best drivers and the number of laps were shorter than usual (or something like that).

It’s all quite primal…the sounds, the smells, the action on the track and in the pits, the fans in the stands. Even at a really small short track (like Highland Rim Speedway here, a short oval only 1/3 of a mile long), there’s just a certain something.
