When I saw him speak last month, his big thing was that he has always had integrity and that nobody would be able to find any scandal about him (obviously in preparation for his going back 15 years for dirt about Hillary.)

I thought he seemed like a nice guy—did get to talk to him one-on-one for awhile (there weren’t many others showing any interest in him). It was right after one of the news sites had run their “There’s a Democrat who nobody’s ever heard of running” stories. I told him that I HAD heard of him—he laughed. Talked more to one of his staffers, who was really quite interesting.

This was at our state Dem convention. He wasn’t treated badly, but there was next to no enthusiasm about him.

Yeah that’s true. Never heard of him in any scandals. He just sounds meh and now I see he’s running on putting us on the metric system. I mean just seems like he’s in A ball while Hillary is in the majors to use some baseball talk.
